This round, I am working on an exploration called Indesign. In this exploration, we are designing the “Cambodia Geography” book which is a resource that provides the reader with a sense of the wonderful geographical diversity found throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia. Last year, there was an exploration in which we divided Cambodia into four different regions: Central and Northern, Western, Southern, and Eastern. Every student in our junior cohort was given an opportunity to go on the trip to and experience the astonishing hidden treasures in every province of Cambodia.
Currently, we are finalizing the consistency and finishing up every province. This is one of my most challenging educational opportunity for me, as it has involving computer designing by Adobe Indesign programme. Throughout every individual province, we have five themes such as: Location and Spatial Term, Infrastructure, Physical System, Place and Regions, and Environment and Society. Before we put the five themes, we also have the history of why the province name was called like this now a day and we asked the students who had went to that province to write a prediction and faith for what the province will look like in the future. Some information that we received is from different websites and some others information is by interviewing. On the last page of the province, we will give credits to all those reliable sources and the people that give us the information.
Finally, I hope that by the end of this round my team will have a copy of this book and ready to print more books after we achieving everything. Also, after the final products are published, I hope that the reader will appreciate this book and spread this collection to the world for Cambodia potential in the next few years.
